Product Description
Freedom Tea is the gourmet version of the most popular Black Orange Pekoe Tea sold in major grocery outlets and other stores where tea is sold (if you purchase “Black Tea” by major, international tea companies, this is what you’re buying–just a lower quality). Whether you like to drink your tea hot or–the way we drink it in the South–as “Sweet Tea” (or “Iced Tea”, depending on where you were from), this tea is perfect no matter how you decide to drink it.
For those of you not familiar with “Sweet Tea”, let me explain it for you.
Wikipedia’s definition for “Sweet Tea” states: “Sweet Tea is a style of iced tea commonly consumed in the United States, especially the Southern United States. Sweet Tea is made by…” Blah, blah, blah… You know what? Fuck Wikipedia and their definition! A few hundred years ago, each of the three ingredients—tea, sugar, and ice—were all expensive commodities and sweet tea was a luxury only afforded to the most wealthy. Today, you can purchase bottled sweet tea in convenient stores, drink it from giant glasses in almost any restaurant, and buy it by the gallon in grocery stores. And, why, you ask? AMERICA, that’s why!!!
Sweet tea is a truly American drink, born in the patriotic South, and bequeathed to the citizens of the United States as our birthright for hard work, ingenuity, and general badassness. Freedom Tea, sweetened or not, is perfect either hot or cold and for drinking at a child’s birthday party, at your family picnic, with a five star meal, or to clear the dust out of your throat after a long day of raining destruction on some goat fuckers. So grab a big glass of Freedom and always remember: Our Founding Fathers didn’t start the Revolution by throwing coffee into the Boston Harbor!
Health Benefits: Black tea has been linked to increased mental alertness, lowering stress hormones, improved heart health, decreasing the risk of diabetes/heart attacks/atherosclerosis/Parkinson’s disease, relief for an upset stomach, improving digestion, reducing the chance of forming kidney stones, minimizing headaches, staving off strokes, plus it has antibacterial properties and may help fight cancer.
WARNING: This tea design has language which is not appropriate for work or around people who may be easily offended (ie, more suited for the military/veteran community). If you want great, gourmet Black Tea but without any offensive language on the packaging, please purchase our namesake, “Tactical Tea”.
