Below are some of the most popular questions we receive along with their answers. If you have any questions and they are not listed below, feel free to contact us through our contact page or any other method we offer, and we’ll be happy to answer it–and may add it to this page to assist others who have the same question.

Is tea good for you?

Independent studies have shown that tea is extremely healthy for you. There are many different types of tea and each type has multiple benefits–some that are unique to that type as well as benefits which overlap and are shared with other teas. We have included some of the benefits of each type of tea we sell in their description in order to give our customers and idea of its potential benefits. If you are seeking a specific health benefit–or other advantages (such as energy)–we recommend spending time researching various teas online in order to find one that suites your needs and goals. Of course, you can always contact us for advice, as well.

With all that being said, the FDA hasn’t certified any of these benefits and we can’t guarantee that a tea will have the desired effect–even if it may have the desired effect for others. Also, if you make sweet tea or drink a hot tea with cream and sugar added, the sugar content will have the same negative effects on you as it would from other sources–those don’t disappear just because you mix it with tea. We recommend using honey other natural sweetener if you want to sweeten your tea.

It seems you have a limited selection--do you plan on selling other types of teas in the future?

DEFINITELY!!! We had originally planned on launching this website when we had six different teas–then, because of interest in our company, we lowered that to four. And, honestly, the pressure from people wanting us to launch the company grew so great, we launched with only three teas to offer. However, we have three more tea lines in the pipeline and they will be launched as soon as possible (artwork, bag design, legal requirements, production, etc. takes time!). Once these three new lines hit the market, we will be releasing other tea lines on a regular basis–some based upon our business plan and others based upon customer demands. After all, we’re working to keep you happy!

With there being so many different teas, why did you pick these particular teas to offer to the public first?

Some of the decision was made based upon smart business logic–ie, one of our teas (Freedom Tea) is made from one of the most popular types of tea across the planet–Orange Pekoe Black Tea. It wouldn’t make sense to have a tea company and not sell a universally-liked tea. The remainder of our decision was based upon our goals of bringing great-tasting, high-quality gourmet teas to market, each of which address specific areas of health or provide benefits unique to active duty military, first responders, or civilians who exercise and/or live a healthy lifestyle (or, are wanting to start the process).

As you’ll see with our different teas, they all have multiple health benefits. Additionally, certain teas provide large amounts of energy through caffeine (or caffeine and other ingredients); some provide benefits more applicable to people who lift weights or have strenuous workout regimens; others have properties that boost a person’s ability to burn fat and loose weight.

If you’re a member of “Average Joe’s Gymnasium” (who doesn’t enjoy an obscure movie reference?), we want to give you a healthy tea to reach your goals. Whether you are just looking for that first step to improving your overall health or, if your goal is to become a badass, we want to help you reach that goal.

Likewise, if you’re a first responder in America’s toughest neighborhoods or one of Uncle Sam’s pipe hitters, we are going to provide you with a tea which is going to boost your performance and let you remain at the top of your game.

Are your teas organic?

Some of our teas are Certified Organic and some of the tea lines we release in the future will also be organic. Any organic tea will be labeled as such on the bag and in the description on this site.

Do you sell your teas or other products in stores or any other location?

At this time, “Tactical Tea Company” products are only sold on this website and on Amazon. Some local retailers have expressed interest in carrying our teas and that will be something we work toward as we grow the business. If you or someone you know would like to carry our products, send us and email and we’ll do everything possible to make this happen.

Why don't you offer refunds on your teas?

Simply put, we are like everyone else who sells food items and can’t offer refunds or returns on products which have already been opened. However, if there is an issue with an item, we’ll do everything possible to make it right.

AR or AK?

We’ve learned–as we are sure a lot of you have–the people who ask this question are only looking for a fight. We all know there is no “correct” answer to this question and no matter how you answer it, the person who asked the question is going to take the opposing side. It’s the equivalent of asking a child if they like chocolate or vanilla ice cream the best–on any given day, depending on their mood, either option could be correct. The only difference is your typical AR/AK fanboi will probably cry louder than the child if you disagree with them on their flavor of preference.

Let’s just say, we have plenty of both and that’s the way we like it.

On a serious note, I want to answer the original question with a question of my own: “When is this question going to be updated to include the SCAR-17 as an option?”
